There are quite a few places you will want to visit while you're in Israel, but there are also quite a few monuments and landmarks you should check out.
Already I'm sure your mind is whirling with ideas! First off, if you love history and religion you have to visit Jerusalem. I mean, everyone has to have Jerusalem on your list, no question about it. Jerusalem has been the center of the world for over 3,000 years and is just a really amazing city visually and historically. Some of the places here you have to see are Via Dolorosa, City of David and Dome of the Rock. Next on the list, you have Tel Aviv. This city has some of the most amazing beach scenery imaginable with clear blue water and white sand!
A few good places to visit here is the Tel Aviv Museum, Sheinken St (great for shopping!) and Carmel Market. The food and restaurants in Israel in general are pretty cheap and really good, so if you have enough money you should try everything out!
